Hello and welcome
All of us face highs and lows at different stages in our lives both at work and home; our current world and the challenges we face requires greater levels of resilience than ever before as individuals and communities. When things are tough, our emotional health and wellbeing can be affected – and we might be left feeling overwhelmed, anxious, depressed and much more - our self-esteem and ability to work can suffer.
All of this can be difficult to put into words. You may be struggling to understand or express how you feel, and this in turn can be both frightening and isolating.
This is where I believe that Counselling through supportive and non-judgemental therapy sessions, can work towards helping you to see your life more clearly. Alternatively, if you face increased uncertainty or complexity and feel a need for greater resilience to navigate this uncertainty; Coaching - a more proactive, task orientated approach - may help you to rebalance and develop the capacity to lead others through challenging times or pressure.
Together, we explore your relationships, direction in your life, and your emotional health. By doing so, you can develop the tools and resources you need to develop greater self awareness, find self-acceptance, empowering you to live a life you are proud of.
Is therapy right for me?
Therapy can be helpful for many different people. Whether you’re experiencing a difficult period in your mental health, or struggling with significant change in your life, talking through it in a professional setting can have a positive effect no matter who you are.
Some of the areas I specialise in include:
Anxiety
Depression
Grief
Addiction
Self-esteem
Identity
Personal development
You might simply feel that you want to know yourself better – and if so then therapy is for you, too. We are all different, but speaking with a professional counsellor can be helpful for many of us.
My clients come from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, ages, and professions. I work with teenagers to the elderly, and all are welcome.
Choosing a therapist is never an easy decision, but here are some helpful tips when trying to determine who to work with. If you’d like to find out more before we meet, please contact me to set up an initial no-obligation consultation.
